Buell Firebolt XB12R 2008

A premium sport bike fight fire Bolt XB12R uses a compact wheelbase and race-inspired chassis geometry for agile, intuitive handling. The storm 1203cc V-Twin Buell engine makes 103 horsepower at 6800 rpm and 84 pounds pi. of peak torque at 6000 rpm, with 75 percent of the maximum available torque at 3500 rpm. The Buell InterActive Exhaust system utilizes a valve in the muffler dual-chamber that is controlled by the ECM and adjusts exhaust flow according to riding conditions to smooth torque delivery and optimize engine power. The clip features Bolt-fire on the handlebars for optimal control, an aerodynamic fairing with double quarter-projector-beam headlamps and an elegant passenger passenger seats. The suggested retail price for Fire Bolt XB12R was reduced by $ 500 in 9995.

What's new in the XB12R Firebolt for 2008

Changes to increase efficiency in the 1203 Thunderstorm V-Twin powertrain, reducing maintenance costs and allow a 7100 rpm red line (see separate release for more details Orage)

The bolt of fire is wired for installation of accessory heated grips, with 18 watts per side and heat settings high and low.

The style of the dashboard is refreshed and the tachometer reflects the new 7100-rpm redline.

A commemorative Buell 25th Anniversary graphic with Erik Buell's signature is placed on the upper triple triple.

Aesthetic frame protectors help reduce damage to the structure in case of rollover incident.

A new choice of colors: Arctic White bodywork, wheels and translucent blue Hero windshield, and a framework Graphite Grey.
