2011 BMW K1300GT Review

2011 BMW K1300GT Review

Gran Tourismo - or in the case of the BMW K 1300 GT is quite simply one of the fastest movers around. It opens a new era in the calendar long distances. However: the impressive average travel time can be on this machine, its performance is as fascinating at low speed, for example, after a hairpin. This is because the motor speed you operate in more than 80% of the time on the road - namely the lower and middle ranges - this engine adds something you can feel the same: 135 Nm at 1293 cc. No ifs, ands or buts. And 160 hp for the three-lane motorway. The fact that this line-4-cylinder engine is very discreet when it comes to fuel consumption and exhaust makes fast travel even more attractive. And it also shows again how modern engines should be built.

GT formula for success is the sum of many clever details: Top ergonomics - both front and rear, a copy of aerodynamics and weather protection, the security system (ABS as standard, with optional ASC), which sets out the requirements. And the comfort level that allows a relaxed, travel supreme. Then there is a very precise care center of gravity low and an optional ESA II to adjust the startup mode with a simple push of a button. So, here's a tip: save yourself the trouble to find an alternative. Get in gear right away.

BMW K 1300 GT: the dynamic performance has never been elegant.
